  6. Add 1 tbs. oil to fry pan and add pepper and onion, stir fry 2 minutes.
  7. Add liquid and gently boil 5 min.
  8. Add slurry slowly and boil 1 min., then add pineapple chunks.
  9. Add cooked chicken and stir well.
  10. Serve with white rice.

Instead of battering and deep-frying, you'll pan-fry the cornstarch-coated chicken until browned on the outside.
