Instructions to make Chicken Tikka Biryani:
- Make deep slits in chicken
- Merinate with all masalas and rub well all over and in slits, keep covered for overnight in fridge or at least 4_5hrs
- Take out from fridge to room temperature than in little oil pan roast on high heat for few mins on both sides till dark colour comes then cook covered till cooked well and dried
- Heat a coal and give them smoke with ghee or oil and cover.
- Or bbq or bake it.Keep them covered in foil.
- Now make masala
- Heat oil and fry onions till golden brown add ginger garlic and fry
- Add all masala written
- Add tomatoes and cook add some water.
- Add dahi and plums. Cook covered till all are mashey and oil comes
- Add green chillies and dhania, Podina
- Biryani masala is ready, it shouldn't be dry.
- Boil rice with the ingredients till 3/4done
- Strain them
- Now make layers. In an wide pot put some oil in bottom 2tbsp than 1/2 rice.
- Than masala, than chicken tiqqa pieces if you like to add potatoes than add fried potatoes
- Than again rice layer, put some orange food colour and oil or ghee 2tbsp on top and put on a tawa on high heat first few 8_10mins then low it to dum for 20 mins.
- If you like more smoky flavour than give it a coal dum also in last
